Your role
As Technical Buyer your mission is to manage the relationships with the suppliers, within certain components commodities assigned, in an active way, ensuring that the base of selected suppliers meet and exceed the requirements in terms of sustainability, quality, price and time to deliver.
In this position you will report to the Team Leader Purchasing.
You Will Be Responsible
- Developing a network of Suppliers capable of supporting current needs and strategic goals
- Steering Suppliers selection processes with cost analyses (based on total cost of ownership)
- Leading negotiations and negotiating supply agreements
- Identifying product and/or process optimization, leading to cost reductions
- Following-up suppliers’ performances and working on continuous improvement plans
- Working on new Product development projects together with colleagues from Engineering department and leading Your own purchasing projects
Educational Requirements
Preferably you are an engineer or an economic graduate with experience in manufacturing companies
Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years as a purchasing agent (strategic sourcing) in a multinational corporate environment is a plus
- Work or academic experience abroad is appreciated
You have a profound knowledge of Italian and English

- You demonstrate a high level of administrative accuracy, and you enjoy motivating people and achieving your goals under pressure
- You are prepared to travel
- You are able to organize your work in an independent way according to the right priorities.

- Job classification: White-Collar employee, Level C3, National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our plant in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza, Italy).
