We are looking for a motivated undergraduate or recent graduate to join our Production Planning team as a Production Planner Intern, supporting the coordination and optimization of manufacturing activities within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

The selected candidate will work closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality teams, contributing to production planning activities, materials management, and performance monitoring, while gaining hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and maintenance of production plans based on customer demand and business requirements.
  • Assist in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure the timely availability of materials and components.
  • Contribute to capacity planning analyses, supporting the identification of potential bottlenecks and workload imbalances across production areas.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor production progress and ensure alignment with delivery schedules.
  • Support inventory management activities, including the analysis of stock levels and critical materials availability.
  • Assist in the preparation of planning reports and the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and production performance metrics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing planning efficiency and optimizing production workflows.

Requirements:

  • Degree (completed or in progress) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in production planning, supply chain management, and manufacturing operations.
  • Good analytical skills and aptitude for working with data and performance indicators.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and planning tools is considered a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is considered an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
  • Knowledge of aerospace, industrial, or quality management standards is an advantage.
  • Native Italian speaker and Fluent English (excellent written and spoken skills).
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
