Tecnimont is looking for a Construction Mechanical Completion Engineer to join the Construction Quality Department.
Key Responsabilities:
The Construction Mechanical Completion Engineer reports to the Mechanical Completion Leader and supports the implementation, monitoring, and management of Mechanical Completion activities throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures the effective execution of Mechanical Completion processes both during the home office phase and at project sites, contributing to the successful handover of systems and subsystems to commissioning and operations.
In home office
Under the guidance of the Mechanical Completion Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the set-up of construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning master inspection and test plan (ITP) models.
- Cooperating with Mechanical Completion Coordinators, Engineering, Construction, Quality, and Commissioning teams to ensure all deliverables required for the Completion Database comply with contractual requirements.
- Managing and updating Mechanical Completion data and engineering information within dedicated project systems and databases.
- Supporting the configuration of Mechanical Completion tools and user accounts in coordination with ICT functions.
- Contributing to the development of Mechanical Completion procedures, training programs, and project execution strategies.
- Providing feedback on technical and organizational issues related to Mechanical Completion activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collecting and capitalizing lessons learned from project execution to improve future project performance.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Mechanical Completion methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
At site
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and recording punch list items received from discipline supervisors and construction quality inspectors.
- Monitoring punch list status and closure progress, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility of outstanding priorities.
- Supporting subsystem completion tracking and monitoring discipline completion activities.
- Issuing Discipline Acceptance Certificates in accordance with project Handover Procedures when required.
- Ensuring Mechanical Completion documentation is complete, updated, and available for handover activities.
- Coordinating with Construction, Quality, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning teams to facilitate an efficient project turnover process.
- Supporting reporting activities and keeping Construction Management informed on completion status and critical issues.
- Promoting compliance with project procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards throughout Mechanical Completion activities.
Requirements and Skills
- Technical High School Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Completion roles within EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Industrial projects.
- Experience both in Home Office and Construction Site environments is considered a strong asset.
- Availability to relocate abroad for project assignments of medium-long duration (typically 12-24 months).
- Good English level (professional). Language proficiency will be assessed during the selection process.
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Completion processes, punch list management, system turnover, and handover procedures.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and fast-paced environments.

Compensation
The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 43.000.
