RINA is a global knowledge company where expertise travels across borders, disciplines, and industries. Every day, we collaborate on solving complex challenges that no single field could tackle alone. With a presence in more than 70 countries and 160 years of heritage, we turn individual know-how into collective progress.

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Photonic Engineer to join our office in Turin within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.

Mission

The Junior Optical & Photonics Engineer supports the development, testing, validation, and performance assessment of optical, photonic, and optoelectronic systems and components.

The role focuses particularly on high-power fibre lasers, optical amplifiers, fibre-optic systems, and electro-optical technologies. It combines technical analysis, numerical modelling, laboratory activities, experimental testing, and engineering documentation throughout the different phases of system development and technology assessment.

The engineer contributes to laboratory campaigns and data-analysis activities and supports the evaluation and characterisation of optical and photonic technologies.

The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including system, electronics, software, mechanical, optical, and photonic engineers, within structured industrial and engineering environments.
