TXT Group is looking for a Aerospace Customer Support Engineer to strengthen the Aerospace & Defence division team.
The selected candidate will serve as the technical-operational point of contact for all customer requests and issues related to training simulators.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual who is eager to collaborate on our products and infrastructures. A good command of English (minimum level B2), strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities are required. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact between the Technical Office and the Support Team, interacting with professionals such as pilots, maintenance staff, instructors, and engineers.
- Ensure the technical reliability of training devices and ground stations.
- Receive, monitor, and process customer requests, initiating or implementing corrective actions to maintain service standards.
- Draft reports on technical issues.
- Produce, update, and validate technical manuals.
- Perform and schedule on-site interventions to monitor system status or carry out installation and maintenance activities.
- Provide training courses on the use of training systems for customer personnel (instructors, pilots, technicians).
- Analyze and monitor simulator installations, identifying and anticipating potential obsolescence.
- Set up all necessary conditions to deliver adequate support services to the training center.
- Resolve issues and proactively gather customer feedback.
- Address customer inquiries.
- Handle emergencies, unexpected problems, and repairs.
- Participate in audits for ENAC/EASA certification.
- Operate the training center in compliance with the FSTD Operator Manual.
- Maintain high standards of customer support service.
- Monitor the efficiency and stability of the FSTDs through QTG testing.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable authority requirements.
- Deliver maintenance training courses to transfer know-how to technicians, pilots, and users.
- Monitor and report simulator performance to the customer.
- Manage software updates.
- Lead a team of technicians.
- Schedule preventive maintenance of simulators.
- Advise senior management on customer satisfaction, simulator performance, and recommendations for improvement.
- Solid knowledge of software, hardware, and machine solutions.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation (electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics).
- Excellent command of MS Office for producing technical manuals and reports.
- Classroom management skills for delivering training sessions to technicians and operators.
- The ideal candidate should have a technical-management educational background, preferably in the aeronautical or aerospace field. Candidates with a degree in aerospace/aeronautical disciplines, or with a high school diploma and at least 3 years of proven experience in the aviation sector, will be considered.

- The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 27.000 € and EUR 30.000 € gross per year.
- The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
