TXM Solutions are supporting an end client on a multi-country deployment of dedicated drivers, motor cycle riders and map data annotation specialists. The client operates a mapping and geospatial data business and needs field collection and annotation teams in six markets.

Role 1 - Map data Annotator

Core responsibilities:

  • Verify and annotate Point of Interest attribute information on the client's proprietary annotation platform.
  • Verification covers local language name spelling, address accuracy, category labels and related geographic attribute information.
  • Candidate requirements
  • Native or highly proficient in the local language of the target country. Strong recognition of local addresses and geographic information is a significant advantage.
  • Working English communication ability is preferred, so the annotator can interface directly with the client's management team.
  • Diligent, responsible and quick to learn, comfortable using web based or software annotation tools.
  • College diploma level education is the benchmark used for salary positioning.

Working pattern:

  • Eight hours per day, two days off per week, following local regulation.
  • Home based is acceptable. Output quality, accuracy and daily progress are set and assessed by the client, who also provides annotation rule training and assessment standards.

Role 2 - Car driver, dedicated vehicle

Purpose

  • Drive assigned routes daily for map data collection, using a dedicated vehicle fitted with collection equipment.

Core responsibilities

  • Perform daily driving and inspection tasks on routes and assignments set by the client.
  • At the end of each working day, export dashcam video and mobile app collection data to the localcloud server and assist with preliminary data desensitisation and archiving.
  • Follow route and daily task itineraries planned by the client's app and dispatch system.

Candidate requirements

  • Valid, legal driving licence issued in the country of work.
  • Two or more years of proficient driving experience with no at fault major traffic accidents.
  • Proficient in the local official language. English is useful but not essential, as the client's managementteam uses translation tools. Willingness to communicate and cooperate matters more than fluency.

Working pattern

  • Eight hours per day, five days per week, in line with local regulation.
  • Minimum seven hours of actual online and driving time per working day.
  • Mixed road surfaces: approximately 200 to 250 km per day. Pure urban routes: within 150 km per day.
  • Occasional intercity transfer or loop tasks. A single trip will not exceed two weeks and returns to the origin. Accommodation is covered under the client's travel allowance standards.

Vehicle

  • Own vehicle required.

Role 3 - Motorcycle rider, dedicated vehicle

Applies to Southeast Asian markets where dense alleys and congestion make two wheel collection necessary.

Core responsibilities

  • Ride assigned routes through urban areas, alleys and complex road conditions, following the client's app.
  • At the end of each working day, export and upload data from bound collection devices, including motorcycle dashcam and mobile app trajectory and image data, to the designated local cloud server, and assist with data desensitisation.

Candidate and vehicle requirements

  • Valid local motorcycle licence, for example Indonesia SIM C or Vietnam A1 or A2, with one to two or more years of proficient riding experience.
  • Motorcycle in good condition. Recommended 110cc to 155cc scooters or underbone motorcycles, fitted with a phone mount and waterproof charging interface.

  • Eight hours per day, with at least seven hours of actual riding en route.
  • Approximately 80 to 150 km per day, mainly urban areas and dense alleys.

Term:

  • One year fixed to start, with monthly rolling requirements expected afterwards.

Locations:

  • No fixed office is required. Annotators can work from home. Drivers and riders work on assigned routes.
