Role Description
This is an opportunity for a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager at the Bank of China’s Milan Branch. The role involves:
· Actively develop client relationships with banking and non-banking financial institutions,
· Coordinate relevant department teams to collaborate with financial institutions on asset, liability, transaction, and settlement business;
· Promote Italian financial institutions to invest in China’s capital markets through Bank of China services;
· Maintain and expand correspondent banking relationships; develop RMB clearing services;
· Prevent and control various business risks of financial institutions, and effectively manage risk prevention as the first line of defense.
The candidate will collaborate with the Financial Institutions team on various projects and perform additional tasks as needed.
This is an on-site role, located in Milan.
Main Responsibilities of the Position
· Marketing and relationship maintenance of financial institution clients;
· Initiating and managing credit granting for financial institution clients;
· Collaborating with relevant teams to promote the sale of various financial institution products;
· Conducting service coordination, event organization, and other related tasks for financial institutions;
Qualifications
· At least 3 years of experience in banking or other financial institutions, with experience in client marketing and credit granting initiation;
· Proficient in business Italian and English (C1), meeting the requirements for most professional needs;
· Proficient in Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
· Candidates who appreciate Chinese culture, and those with Chinese language proficiency or China-related study/work experience are preferred.
· Recognize and respect Chinese culture; candidates who know Chinese or have related study or work experience in China are preferred.

Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate‘s profile and experience.
