M&A Associate 1/2
We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Boutique M&A to identify an M&A Associate 1 or 2 to join its growing team in Milan.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 4-5 years of relevant experience looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and high-performing environment, gaining direct exposure to complex and high-profile transactions involving entrepreneurs, PE funds, corporate groups, and institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates throughout the full transaction lifecycle.
  • Prepare marketing materials, including Teasers, Information Memoranda, Business Plans, Management Presentations, and pitchbooks.
  • Perform financial analysis, including financial statement review and reclassification from trial balances.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated valuation and financial models (DCF, LBO, Trading Comparables, Transaction Comparables, and scenario analyses).
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with clients, investors, legal advisors, and other counterparties involved in the transaction process.
  • Conduct industry, market, and company research to support both execution and origination activities.
  • Assist senior professionals in transaction structuring, negotiations, and client relationship management.

Requirements
  • 4-5 years of experience within M&A Advisory, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a similar financial advisory environment.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to perform effectively in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
