Frontend & Product Developer

Napoli, Campania, Italia AI Lynx S.r.l. Tempo pieno

We’ve built a fintech app that’s ready to launch. It’s called VEGA, and it runs on a proprietary machine learning model that we developed and trained in-house. Every day, the model updates its analysis to deliver insights to our users. We expect the average user to have limited time to open the app, understand what they’re seeing, and decide what to do next.

We’re looking for someone who can make that journey seamless—from data to user. Screens, numbers, charts: we want to deliver them with clarity, relevance, and speed. VEGA’s current frontend was built in collaboration with external developers. You’ll take ownership of it end to end, from the interface to releases on the app stores. Half the work is code; the other half is product: user flows, onboarding, the paywall, and the features in our next release.

The challenges ahead? Making time series readable on a six-inch screen, presenting information that makes sense at a glance, and handling data that changes every day. You’ll work daily with our Head of Product and closely with the founders and the wider technical team.

We’re AI Lynx, and we already have more fintech products in the pipeline. Our next product is designed for banks and investment managers. Research and development are at the heart of what we do, often in collaboration with universities and research centres. That’s how we work—and how the VEGA model came to life.

What you’ll do

  • Develop the VEGA app in React Native, including its interface and frontend logic.
  • Discuss user flows, wireframes, and priorities in product meetings with the team. We’ll expect you to bring ideas for user flows, onboarding, and the paywall.
  • Turn user feedback and usage data into product releases.
  • Work with product and marketing on onboarding, the paywall, and app store listings—shaping how VEGA is presented and sold.
  • Use AI tools in your daily development work and help us improve how we work with coding agents.
  • Further down the line, build interfaces for our products for banks and investment managers.

What to expect

  • A gross annual salary of €25,000–€35,000, plus benefits.
  • A role that combines product thinking with hands-on development.
  • Ownership of the frontend from day one. You’ll work alongside people specialising in machine learning, backend engineering, product, and marketing, and you’ll be our sole frontend developer.
  • A product approaching launch: expect a fast-paced first few months and an influx of user feedback.
  • An office in Naples’ Centro Direzionale, Isola A2. We prefer on-site working during onboarding, with remote working available once you’re settled in. Fully remote working from day one may be considered if you can work with sufficient independence.

What we’re looking for

  • Frontend development experience with any stack—React, Vue, Angular, Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Compose, or Flutter—that you can demonstrate through your code.
  • At least one published, accessible app or web app: an app store listing, live URL, or repository. University and personal projects count too.
  • Evidence of UI/UX learning through courses, a portfolio, or projects, and a product decision you can explain and defend: why that flow, that screen, or that price.
  • Experience developing with coding agents and your own considered views on how to use them.
  • English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation and discuss technical topics.

Our selection process

We’ll start with a 30-minute introductory interview, followed by a technical discussion of your portfolio. Next comes a live practical exercise using the AI tools you normally work with. We’ll ask you to share your conversation with those tools so we can understand how you think and how you use them. For the strongest candidates, there will be a fourth interview to discuss the decisions made during the exercise.

We’ll respond within 10 business days of your application. The process from the first interview to an offer typically takes a few weeks.
