Purpose of the position: As Buyer you will be part of Supply Chain Function serving the Material Procurement Business Line (Electrical & Instrumentation)
How can you support us?
- Manage sourcing strategies and RFQ processes, ensuring maximum market competitiveness, process transparency, and the protection of confidential commercial information.
- Analyze and critically evaluate supplier proposals, developing commercial comparisons to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize expenditures, and create value for the project.
- Lead commercial negotiations with domestic and international suppliers to secure the most favorable commercial, contractual, and operational conditions, ensuring the achievement of business objectives.
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage purchase orders and contracts, effectively mitigating commercial, contractual, and supply chain risks throughout the entire procurement lifecycle.
- Ensure full compliance with corporate procedures and project requirements, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support the effective execution of initiatives and the achievement of expected results.
Education: High School Diploma in Electrical / Electrotechnical / Electromechanics field or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Background: 3-5 years years of previous experience as a Buyer, preferably within Oil & Gas Industry
Languages: good proficiency in both written and spoken English
Technical/IT Knowledge: SAP, Teams, Outlook, MS Office main apps.
What else should you know? Some travelling will be expected within Italy and/or abroad.
