Discover the Role

The Tax Specialist will be part of the Accounting&Tax department, providing Italian tax services to a wide range of foreign clients. The Tax Specialist will support colleagues within the Tax Department and collaborate with colleagues in the Accounting Team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting, tax and corporate services for Italian companies and subsidiaries of multinational groups;
  • Management of yearly tax compliance (CIT return, VAT return, WHT return);
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements, including additional notes and management reports;
  • Support the Accounting&Tax team with monthly reporting packages for clients;
  • Support the Client Controller in the finalization of year-end Management Accounts and perform year-end accruals;
  • Computation of yearly corporate income and local taxes (IRES, IRAP), property taxes, and corporate duties;
  • Support the Accounting team with periodic VAT and WHT compliance;
  • Support the Client Headquarters in the review of accounting ledgers and perform adjustments in compliance with Italian law;
  • Provide corporate secretarial assistance (drafting shareholder and board of directors’ resolutions in Italian and English), and monitor and manage annual mandatory filings;
  • Assist with the incorporation of SPVs, registration of branches, transfer of shares or business branches, and company winding-up procedures.


Key Requirements

  • Good written and spoken English;
  • Strong analytical and technical skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks for different clients;
  • At least 1 year of experience, preferably gained in a similar environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
