Job Description Summary
HR support for client group Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process The HR Partner GS Sesto Site and Hydro and ONW Italy is the first point of contact for managers and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. This role is critical in executing our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The role reports directly to the HR Country Leader of REN in Italy.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- The HR Partner GS Sesto Site and Hydro and ONW Italy is responsible for both employee and organizationally focused strategies in partnership with the various REN HRBPs and REN HR Country Leader. Specifically, he/she will:
- Help to align organizational need with business strategy
- Support organization design, workforce planning, culture and change management, leadership development and coaching, pipeline development, and succession planning within the defined employee population and in partnership with other HRMs and HRBPs supporting the function
- Partner with leadership to develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture and leverage change acceleration techniques, contemporary communications technology and feedback to assist in driving broad change and improving the employee experience.
- Provide support to the HRBPs on topics including integration or reorganization
- Provide dedicated HR guidance and coaching to local managers and employees for the assigned client groups (Grid PTR, Grid Automation, Grid Commercial Solutions, Hydro, ONW, and REN COE based in Italy) with a specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention, and workplace investigations
- Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; navigate employees and managers to HR Shared Services when it is the more appropriate resource
- Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
- Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
- Lead Labor Relations topics on PTR Site and at Digital Services organization and foster a trustful collaboration with employee representatives (Works Councils)
- This role requires advanced experience in the Human Resources & Employee Human Resource Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Proven experience in a variety of Human Resource positions with increasing scope
- Fluent Italian and English language skills

- Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
