Industrial Director

For luxury fashion brand known for his exceptional craftsmanship, timeless designs, and commitment to excellence. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Director to lead the strategic direction of our supply chain logistics, production, and product compliance teams. The Industrial Director will continually expand operations and drive growth. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of supply chain and production and upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.

Strategy Development and Implementation

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with the business’s objectives and unique requirements of the luxury fashion industry.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining the highest standards of product and service quality.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise production processes, streamline logistics, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Supply Chain Management & Procurement

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain logistics, including planning, product development, production, inventory management, and delivery to POS.
• Lead and manage the Raw Materials Procurement function, ensuring strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and constant supply alignment with production needs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain agility, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Foster strategic partnerships with suppliers, tanneries, mills, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.

Production and Product Development

• Lead and manage the product development and production team, ensuring the seamless execution of production plans and adherence to quality standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end product development cycle across all three main product categories: Ready-To-Wear (RTW), Shoes, and Accessories.
• Develop and implement best practices for manufacturing processes to optimise efficiency, minimise waste, and reduce lead times.
• Collaborate with design and product merchandising to ensure feasibility and efficiency in translating design concepts into finished products.

Product Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Take full responsibility for the quality of the finished product, establishing strict evaluation metrics and ensuring every piece meets high luxury standards before distribution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications related to product safety and quality control.
• Implement robust quality control procedures across all production stages to guarantee the highest level of product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Development

• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the supply chain logistics, product development and production, raw materials procurement, and quality/compliance leaders.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Identify training and development needs, and implement initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team members.

Your Talent:

• Extensive experience in supply chain management, production, and manufacturing roles within the luxury fashion industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, and logistics. Strong understanding of luxury fashion market dynamics and supply chain complexities specific to the industry.
• Solid knowledge of product compliance, quality management systems, and industry standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English & Italian
