- office at client site, with travel Contract: 12 months, extendable, start as soon as possible The opportunity Join the offshore engineering team of an innovative developer of long-duration offshore energy storage in Milan. You will design and validate the floating structures and mooring systems of a patented technology, from prototype to commercial units, working with universities, test basins, suppliers and classification societies. What you will do Design floating structures and their connections Design and analyse mooring systems Run hydrodynamic and global moored analyses Plan basin and sea test campaigns Support prototype build and installation What you bring MSc in naval, offshore or maritime engineering 4-8 years in offshore structures or moorings OrcaFlex, AQWA or Diodore; Ansys or Sesam FEM DNV, API and ISO offshore standards Eligible to work in the EU; fluent English
