About the role
general manager – studio operationsoversee daily studio operations and management teams, including front desk, fuelbar, retail and facilities.
* drive studio performance, monitor retail and fuelbar business metrics and make informed decisions.
* manage labor schedules, ensure coverage aligned with budgeted hours.
* conduct regular inspections, coordinate facility projects, and ensure clean, updated spaces.
* maintain a working presence in the studio, covering management shifts, mentoring employees and other managers.
* assist with new studio openings as needed.
* team leadershipcommunicate with supervisors, peers and subordinates to ensure departmental support.
* recruit, screen and onboard new employees across all departments.
* analyze training levels to guarantee consistent hospitality standards.
* coach a motivated team, conduct performance reviews and address personnel issues with hr.
* partner with director of operations to source and hire new management candidates.
* community, marketing and studio dynamicscollaborate with local and corporate marketing on brand initiatives and client acquisition strategies.
* foster a unified culture and high staff engagement.
* represent the barry’s brand within the studio and local fitness community. qualifications
* 3‑5 years of fitness management or related hospitality, retail, food‑beverage experience.
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or equivalent.
* financial acumen to assess impact of decisions.
* availability for full‑time work during non‑traditional hours.
* proven ability to train, lead, motivate and delegate.
* strong communication, organization, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
* physical ability to kneel, bend, climb, stand for long periods and lift up to 30lb. #J-18808-Ljbffr
