This is a hands‑on, shipyard‑based role with involvement across the full lifecycle from engineering and construction through to commissioning and sea trials. The Role
* Support day-to-day technical oversight of new build projects
* Monitor on‑site construction progress and build quality
* Review engineering drawings, specifications, and system integrations
* Coordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Track technical actions, open items, and contractor deliverables
* Conduct inspections, QA checks, and support snagging processes
* Assist with commissioning, testing, and sea trials
* Report on progress, risks, and technical challenges What We’re Looking For
* Y2 (or equivalent) engineering qualification
* Previous experience as a yacht engineer (2nd Engineer or above) on 50m+ vessels
* Strong understanding of yacht systems (mechanical & onboard)
* Experience working in shipyard environments (new build or refit)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* EU residency and willingness to travel within Europe What’s on Offer
* €6,000/month (depending on experience)
