Overview In this role you contribute to the on-board software (OBSW) for spacecraft, supporting RB/TS baselines, designing OBSW, and validating performance with test equipment and models. You will interface with customers and suppliers and collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure robust, real-time OBSW solutions. The work centers on multi-core/hypervisor environments and ESP standards to ensure mission success. This is a hands-on role at the core of space systems software with a strong impact on spacecraft reliability and operations. Retribuzione / Benefits

* Support the OBSW Requirements Baseline (RB) production
* Produce the OBSW Technical Specification (TS)
* Design the OBSW
* Perform unit and integration tests of the OBSW
* Conduct validation tests against TS with appropriate test equipment and models
* Support validation against RB
* Interface with customers and suppliers
* Collaborate with project managers, industrial engineering, manufacturing and sales Requisiti fondamentali
* Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Knowledge of ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C standards from ESA
* Knowledge of multi-core processors and hypervisors (PikeOS, XtratuM)
* Experience in hard real-time software design, development and debugging
* Experience in C and/or Ada 95
* Experience in software requirements management
* Knowledge of UML for software design, preferably Rhapsody for C/Ada
* Knowledge of software quality metrics tools (Logiscope, Understand) for C/Ada
* Organized, methodical, strong communication
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team
* Strong problem solving and time/cost efficiency mindset
