Akaion builds scalable, cloud-native products that turn complex ideas into fast, reliable digital experiences. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and scaling of modern web applications. Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
* Build responsive and high-performance frontend applications using React with TypeScript
* Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and data models
* Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases (schema design, queries, performance)
* Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features
* Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
* Contribute to architectural decisions and system scalability Requirements
* Strong experience with Python for backend development
* Solid knowledge of React and TypeScript
* Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
* Hands-on experience with GCP (e.g. Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, or similar)
* Good understanding of REST APIs and modern web architectures
* Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
* Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Nice to Have
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
* Experience with cloud-native and scalable architectures
