Overview As a Systems Engineer in Milano, you lead the technical execution of lighting control projects, ensuring designs translate into reliable commissioning outcomes. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage commissioning strategies, and ensure quality handover with customers. Your role drives project success, performance, and customer satisfaction while aligning with Signify’s sustainable, innovative mission. * Review and validate control design, schematics, and documentation for feasibility and alignment
* Act as technical lead during project execution and support Project Managers
* Define and drive commissioning strategy and execution model
* Prepare and oversee startup and commissioning plans integrating all disciplines
* Perform and supervise remote and on-site commissioning activities
* Coordinate Commissioning Partners and subcontractors including guidance and quality control
* Provide technical support to Certified System Integrators and ensure consistent standards
* Monitor system performance against specs, budget, and targets
* Ensure testing, validation, and system handover with complete documentation
* Drive issue resolution and risk management to close projects
* Share lessons learned and support standardization across projects and regions
* Provide technical expertise for customer interactions, demonstrations, and troubleshooting Requisiti fondamentali
* Strong technical knowledge of lighting control systems and system integration
* Experience in system commissioning and technical project execution (on-site)
* Ability to define and lead commissioning strategies balancing internal and partner execution
* Experience coordinating and managing third parties (subcontractors, partners)
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Sales, PM, Tech Design, and external partners
* Solid problem-solving skills under pressure and issue resolution
* Experience in international and multi-project environments
* High ownership and accountability for delivery, timelines and quality
* Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
* Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning
