About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Renewable Energy Engineer to join their dynamic team in Mexico City, Mexico City, MX. This role is crucial for driving innovation and sustainability within the energy sector. You will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge renewable energy projects, contributing significantly to our client's commitment to a greener future. This hybrid position offers a unique blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing for optimal productivity and work-life balance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a passion for renewable energy, and proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of solar, wind, and other renewable energy systems. Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and energy production analyses. Oversee project execution, from procurement and construction to commissioning and handover. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant technical standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Identify and evaluate new technologies and opportunities for improving energy efficiency and performance. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal management. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar and wind projects. Demonstrated experience in project management and team leadership. Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., PVSyst, Homer, Windographer). Strong understanding of grid interconnection standards and power systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex technical information clearly. Fluency in both Spanish and English is highly preferred.
