Overview As Engagement Manager in Oliver Wyman's Insurance and Asset Management practice, you drive client engagements from problem definition to implementation planning. * Lead day-to-day client engagements from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and implementation planning
* Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and oversee quantitative and qualitative analyses
* Translate findings into clear, practical recommendations addressing strategic and operational priorities
* Apply insurance-sector knowledge to client challenges across strategy, finance, risk, and operations
* Ensure deliverables are high-quality, consistent, and technically sound
* Build and maintain trusted client relationships through clear communication and stakeholder management

* 6–8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a leading strategy consulting firm
* In-depth knowledge of the insurance sector and related strategic, financial, risk, or operational challenges
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to structure complex questions and derive actionable recommendations
* Experience leading project teams and delivering high-quality outcomes in demanding client environments
* Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly to stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
* Fluency in English and Italian
* Master's degree from a leading academic institution
