Senior Hardware Design Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our office in Rome within the Electronics and System Engineering Division. Mission We are looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and development of advanced electronic systems and solutions. The selected candidate will be involved throughout the hardware development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture definition to design, verification and testing. Key Accountabilities
* Design and development of electronic hardware systems and boards
* Definition of hardware architectures and selection of electronic components
* Development and review of schematics and electronic designs
* Support to system engineering activities and technical requirements analysis
* Design and development activities involving digital electronics.
* Hardware verification, validation, testing and troubleshooting.
* Analysis of technical issues and identification of appropriate engineering solutions.
* Preparation and review of technical and design documentation.
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including system, software, firmware and testing engineers.
* Technical support during the different phases of product and project development. Nice to have:FPGAs and microwave/RF technologies. Education Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering Qualifications
* Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related technical discipline.
* Solid experience in hardware and electronic design.
* Knowledge of electronic circuits, components and hardware architectures.
* Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly valued: System Engineering, FPGA, microwave/RF technologies and electronic design.
* Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into hardware solutions.
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Good command of English, both written and spoken. I-FT1 Competencies

Compensation & Benefits The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between € 40,000.00 and € 50,000.00 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
