h3Data Centres | Mission Critical | Construction Project Management /h3 pWe’re supporting a leading multidisciplinary design and project consultancy in Milan with the appointment of an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the delivery of major Data Centre and Mission Critical projects. /p pPlease note: this is a specialist Data Centre position. /p pTo be considered, candidates must: /p ul liAlready be based in Italy /li liHave the existing right to work in Italy without employer sponsorship /li liHave worked across multiple Data Centre projects, rather than having exposure to a single project /li liHave strong practical knowledge of MEP systems and multidisciplinary construction coordination. /li /ul pIf your background is primarily residential, general commercial, infrastructure or non-mission-critical construction without significant Data Centre experience, this particular opportunity is unlikely to be the right fit. /p h3The Role /h3 pWorking closely with clients, design teams, contractors and specialist consultants, you’ll provide day-to-day leadership and coordination across complex Data Centre construction projects. /p pKey responsibilities will include: /p ul liManaging Data Centre projects through construction, commissioning and final handover /li liCoordinating multidisciplinary MEP, CSA, design and construction teams /li liManaging General Contractors, specialist contractors and consultants /li liDriving project programmes, key milestones and delivery schedules /li liMonitoring project cost, quality, risk and overall performance /li liManaging site progress and identifying potential programme or technical issues /li liCoordinating MEP installation and interfaces across disciplines /li liSupporting procurement, tendering and contractor appointment processes /li liManaging client, contractor and stakeholder relationships /li liManaging variations, changes and project reporting /li liSupporting testing, commissioning, snagging and operational handover /li liEnsuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required technical and quality standards /li /ul pWe’re interested in speaking with experienced Construction Project Managers who can demonstrate: /p ul liStrong MEP knowledge and experience coordinating Mechanical, Electrical and specialist building-services packages /li liExperience managing projects during the live construction phase /li liExperience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, consultants and client teams /li liStrong understanding of programme, cost, risk, quality and change management /li liExperience supporting testing, commissioning and handover /li liStrong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills /li liThe ability to operate confidently within a fast-paced international project environment /li liA degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline would be advantageous /li liProfessional accreditation such as PMP, RICS, CIOB or equivalent would be beneficial /li /ul h3Location Right to Work /h3 pThis position requires someone who is already based in Italy and able to work in Italy without employer sponsorship. /p pUnfortunately, relocation from outside Italy and visa sponsorship cannot be supported for this particular appointment. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pYou’ll be joining an established multidisciplinary consultancy delivering complex Data Centre and Mission Critical projects across Italy and the wider European market. /p pThe role offers the opportunity to work across the full construction lifecycle, combining construction management, MEP coordination, client leadership, commissioning and project delivery. /p pBoth permanent and contract/freelance profiles may be considered, depending on experience and availability. /p pIf you are currently based in Italy, have the required right to work and have delivered multiple Data Centre projects, we would be very interested in speaking with you. /p p#DataCentres #MissionCritical #ConstructionProjectManager #MilanJobs #MEP #ConstructionManagement #DataCentreJobs #ItalyJobs /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
