* Drive and oversee the overall financial controls environment
* Review and approve key balance sheet reconciliations and financial positions prepared by the GDC
* Identify risks and opportunities within financial reporting and provide recommendations to leadership
* Ensure adherence to ERM policies, controls, and accounting standards
* Lead statutory accounting activities and ensure compliance with Italian GAAP and local regulatory requirements
* Maintain oversight of local statutory books and reporting obligations
* Support VAT and other local compliance requirements in collaboration with specialist teams
* Lead statutory, tax, and financial audits; coordinate with external auditors and advisors
* Support Group audit requirements and ensure timely resolution of audit matters
* Provide expert accounting guidance on complex transactions and align with GDC policies
* Collaborate with Finance Directors, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, HR, and operational leaders
* Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives Requisiti fondamentali
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
* Significant experience in financial controllership, accounting, audit, or finance management
* Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements
* Experience managing external audits and regulatory relationships
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong Excel and ERP system experience
* Fluent Italian and English (C1)
