- Milan, Italy Data Centres Are you a Project Director looking for your next role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading high-tech facilities provider based in Milan, on a permanent contract. Our client delivers cutting-edge projects for data centres worldwide. This is your chance to work with an innovative, market-leading company as their newest Project Director.
What you'll do
* Provide overall leadership and direction for the successful delivery of a hyperscale data centre project.
* Assume full responsibility for project execution, commercial performance, programme delivery, quality, safety, and stakeholder management.
* Establish and develop the project team structure, recruiting and managing key personnel as the project progresses.
* Drive project strategy from pre-construction through construction, commissioning, and client handover.
* Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior executive stakeholders.
What you'll need
* Proven experience delivering hyperscale data centre projects in a senior leadership capacity.
* Previous experience operating as a Project Director, Programme Director, Project Executive, or Senior Project Manager on large-scale mission-critical developments.
* Demonstrable track record managing major CAPEX programmes from inception through to completion.
* Strong commercial awareness with experience managing complex budgets, contracts, and project controls.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
