responsibilities:
* Lead the day-to-day execution of railway infrastructure projects in Italy, acting as the primary project manager and company representative on site.
* Develop, coordinate, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
* Coordinate closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables.
* Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and technical requirements.
* Monitor and control project performance, including budget, schedule, resources, risks, and scope, implementing corrective actions where required.
* Identify, assess, and resolve project issues and risks, driving practical solutions to maintain project progress.
* Prepare and maintain accurate project reporting, providing regular updates on progress, risks, costs, and key milestones to management.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders while representing the company in a professional manner.
* Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements to support project profitability and operational excellence.
* Implement and utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies to enhance project coordination, collaboration, and visualization.
* Maintaining strong and positive relationships with the relevant local authorities and municipalities
* Assistance with land-related clarifications with local authorities and RFI.
* Assistance with building permit procedure
* Assistance in technical Site DD for upcoming Italian CargoBeamer locations
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project; experience with iTWO and SAP is an advantage.
* Fluent in Italian with professional proficiency in English (minimum B2 level); German language skills are an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
