* Oversee engineering operations across two properties, including landscape, plant, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety systems
* Manage rostering, staffing levels, and external contractors to meet requirements
* Lead cost-focused initiatives through training and process improvements
* Analyze and design projects, and maintain knowledge of engineering products and services for resorts
* Develop and monitor operating budgets and CAPEX plans, presenting to GM and owners
* Coordinate engineering priorities and standardize service delivery between properties
* Ensure compliance with Italian regulations, certifications, and safety documentation
* Monitor energy and water usage and drive efficiency initiatives with Sustainability teams
* Develop engineering leaders through coaching, training, and succession planning
* Lead pre-opening and operational readiness for Six Senses Milan
* Oversee contractor performance, emergency preparedness, and business continuity across the cluster
* Support and lead pre-opening activities and technical handover processes
* Ensure adherence to legal, financial, and contractual obligations and reporting systems Requisiti fondamentali
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) plus 10+ years in a similar hotel engineering role preferred
* Professional certification and license as required by law
* Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry
* Level 3 EPA, HVAC and refrigeration certificates, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician/carpenter (if required)
* Fluent in English and Italian
* Experience in a cluster or multi-property leadership role in luxury hospitality
* Strong knowledge of Italian building regulations, fire safety, health and safety compliance
* Proven track record in budgeting, CAPEX, preventive maintenance, and managing external providers
* Experience with hotel pre-opening, technical commissioning, and building management systems (BMS) desirable
* Strong leadership, financial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Willingness to travel between Rome and Milan
