* Define the product strategy for the Italian market across payroll, HR, time, and services
* Lead an engineering team to execute the roadmap
* Coordinate dependencies across Product (payroll engine), Time, HRIS, and Services teams
* Break complex requirements into iterative increments and ship fast
* Own relationships with key accounts and validate solutions with customers
* Collaborate with sales, implementation, and local compliance teams to enable scalable solutions
* Think entrepreneurially to build a market entry playbook from scratch
* Leverage AI to accelerate build and ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with local teams
* Master Italian labor law (CCNL, INPS, regional variations) to ensure compliant solutions
* Position Italy as the anchor market for Deel's Southern Europe expansion Requisiti fondamentali
* Based in EMEA with proximity to the Italian market
* Fluent in Italian and English for coordination
* Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
* Strong stakeholder management across multiple teams and external partners
* Pragmatism and systems thinking to connect payroll, HR, time tracking and compliance
