pAt Purina we are committed to create richer lives for pets and the people who love them, providing high quality nutrition for cats and dogs and doing more of what matters for pets, people and planet. /p h3Position Snapshot /h3 ul liPermanent and full-time role /li liNestlé welcomes people with disabilities /li liUniversity Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Life Sciences or a related field /li li2–3 years of experience in Food Safety or Quality within a manufacturing/operations environment, preferably in Food, Pharma or FMCG industries /li liStrong Food Safety expertise and microbiological background, combined with a flexible, project-oriented mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with different stakeholders. /li liFluency in both Italian and English is mandatory /li /ul h3Position Summary /h3 pAs a Food Safety Specialist, you will join the start-up project team at our Portogruaro Plant, providing Food Safety expertise and support throughout the development of the project. /p pYou will collaborate with the project team, Engineering, Factory Quality and other internal and external stakeholders, providing a Food Safety perspective across the different phases of the project, including hygienic design, microbiological validation and product and process validation. /p pThe role will provide broad exposure to the manufacturing process, from raw material reception through to packaging, while contributing to the implementation and execution of Food Safety operational standards and strategies. /p h3A Day in the life of a Food Safety Specialist: /h3 ul liEnsure the implementation and execution of operational standards and strategies across specific Food Safety areas, including sensory, food contact materials, non-food items, chemical contaminants, hygiene, pest control, microbiology, foreign body and allergen management. /li liProvide operational technical support across different business and manufacturing processes in the relevant Food Safety areas. /li liContribute to design and continuous improvement activities across different business and manufacturing processes. /li liCollaborate with Engineering on hygienic design topics, bringing a Food Safety and Quality perspective to the project. /li liContribute to microbiological validation activities. /li liSupport product and process validation activities in collaboration with Factory Quality and relevant stakeholders. /li liSupport the collection of information and documentation required for validation activities. /li liContribute to ensuring Food Safety requirements are considered throughout the development of the start-up project. /li liCollaborate with internal project stakeholders, Factory Quality and central Quality teams. /li /ul h3What will make you successful? /h3 ul liGood understanding of Food Safety compliance, certification and regulatory requirements /li liProject-oriented mindset and ability to work across different projects and activities /li liAbility to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders in a cross-functional environment /li /ul h3What
