FINANCE SPECIALIST
- PROJECT CONTROLLER (F/M/NB) for a world-leading multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector. This is a strategic opportunity to join a dynamic, large-scale industrial environment.
We offer
an initial 12-month contract with the possibility of direct hire by the company. Compensation: RAL 35-36K, CCNL Metalworking Industry Workplace : Florence Responsibility As an E&P Project Controller, you will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial integrity, project profitability and effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for: Partnering with Project Managers to provide financial governance and control over project costs and performance; Leading Project Margin Reviews to determine project profitability and support revenue recognition activities; Assessing project exposures, risks, opportunities, and cost estimates, including defining requirements for reserves where necessary; Performing detailed variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and benchmarks to identify productivity and margin improvement opportunities; Supporting project forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management activities; Driving continuous process improvement initiatives and contributing to strategic digitization and simplification projects, including systems implementations, cross-functional process enhancements, and automation initiatives (RPA); Ensuring compliance with company policies, financial controls, and accounting standards; Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited university; Relevant professional experience, preferably within the finance organization of a multinational company; Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools such as Oracle; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data; Fluent English, both written and spoken. -
