The post is for a six-year period. The annual gross salary is about 50.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is STATISTICS:

Required research duties: Research activities in the field of methodological statistics, including the use of computational methods, aimed at developing, studying, and applying statistical methodologies for data analysis. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, inference and statistical analysis of univariate and multivariate data using both parametric and nonparametric approaches, statistical modelling and predictive methods, as well as the development of computational algorithms for the analysis of complex and high-dimensional data.

Required teaching duties: The appointee’s teaching duties will be defined as part of the teaching plan of the Department of Economics and Management and will include courses in the subject ar-ea specified in the call. Courses will be taught in Italian and/or English across the Department’s undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programmes. The appointee’s overall teaching commit-ment at the University of Trento will be determined by the Council of the Department of Econom-ics and Management as part of the annual teaching planning process, in accordance with the Uni-versity’s academic regulations.

Foreign language required: excellent level of English;
Knowledge of Italian: level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching load (the researcher is required to teach in Italian);
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12;
Hours of work: full time.
