We are looking for a Field Service Engineer - Navigation & Communication Equipment
Your role:- Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of Furuno navigation and communication equipment aboard vessels.
- Technical support via phone, email, and on-site assistance.
- Collaboration with the workshop for configurations and repair.
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not mandatory).
- Good command of English to operate in an international environment.
- A diploma in electronics/electrotechnics or a degree in a technical field.
- The position is based in Viareggio (LU)
- Full-Time, permanent contract
- Frequent travel required
Furuno Italia S.r.l. became part of the Furuno Electric Co., Ltd network in January 2014, with the aim of managing the market, distribution and service throughout Italy. The company operates in four important market segments: yachting, deep sea, work boat and fishing.
The headquarters are located in Gatteo and they're well connected to the motorway in an area with a great nautical vocation. Furuno Italia S.r.l. is also present with its own offices in Naples, Genoa, Viareggio and Palermo (for service in Sicily) thus guaranteeing optimal commercial, technical and assistance service.
