In this role you contribute to the development and improvement of textile-printing equipment. You will join a multidisciplinary R&D and manufacturing-technical office, driving design improvements and ensuring performance and manufacturability across multiple projects. You collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Test teams to optimize cost, reliability, and product construction. This is an opportunity to shape innovative machinery in a hands-on setting with cross-functional partners.
Responsabilità- Drive design improvements across the existing product portfolio
- Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary R&D Engineering team
- Lead mechanical engineering activities across multiple projects, including cost analysis, technical specifications, risk assessment, and validation testing requirements
- Partner with Supply Chain to identify cost reduction opportunities through alternative materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Test Engineering teams to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability of product components
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a technical office, engineering, or product development function
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, product construction methods, and engineering calculations for complex assemblies and systems
- Experience in prototype development, testing, validation, and coordination of prototype build activities
- Ability to create engineering concepts and translate them into detailed 3D models and technical drawings; experience with PTC Creo Elements/Direct is preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels
- Experience managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Broad multidisciplinary technical knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
