Digital and artificial intelligence technologies are increasingly used both by employers, for selecting, organising, monitoring and evaluating employees, and by employees themselves in carrying out their work. The research therefore pursues a twofold aim. The first concerns the risks connected with the use of algorithmic management tools in the exercise of employers’ prerogatives, with reference, for instance, to privacy, monitoring and discrimination. The second concerns the effects that the introduction of Digital and AI technologies has on workers’ skills, on the resulting need for protection in terms of training and reskilling, and on the necessary revision of job classification systems. The research will focus specifically on the banking sector (and the relevant collective bargaining framework), which is particularly affected by the growing use of digital and AI technologies in human resource management and in the performance of work.
Mandatory requirement for admission to the selection: italian Laurea Magistrale, or Laurea a Ciclo Unico, or an equivalent degree from foreign Universities, obtained no more than 6 years prior to the application deadline (i.e obtained after 13/10/2020).
