As Senior IC Lead you will own IC development from architecture to tape-out and productisation in an early-stage semiconductor/AI startup in Milan. You’ll lead a small IC team while staying hands-on, shaping silicon execution and roadmap for ultra-low-power edge applications. The role combines technical leadership with deep involvement in analog/mixed-signal design, verification, and bring-up across multiple silicon revisions. You’ll collaborate with foundries, EDA providers, and partners to ensure manufacturability and yield while delivering impactful silicon platforms.

- Conduct PVT and Monte Carlo analysis
- Perform verification and sign-off
- Lead silicon bring-up, debug and characterisation
- Coordinate with foundries, EDA providers, packaging, test and external partners
- Focus on manufacturability, testability, yield and product requirements
- Lead and develop a small, highly technical IC team
- Contribute to the company’s future silicon roadmap
- Strong Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design experience
- Experience taking silicon through multiple tape-outs
- Experience owning or leading multiple silicon programmes
- Strong knowledge of schematic design, layout, verification and sign-off
- Experience with PVT / Monte Carlo analysis
- Silicon bring-up and characterisation experience
- Experience working with foundries and external semiconductor partners
- Understanding of productising silicon
- Experience leading a small technical team while remaining hands-on
- Interest in working in an early-stage semiconductor environment
- Experience in Ultra-low-power ICs, Sensor ASICs, MEMS, Audio, Wearables, Biomedical, Edge AI, Neuromorphic Computing or Analog AI Accelerators (nice-to-have)
