Join ABB Motion as the head of global Product Engineering & Quality, leading end-to-end product performance, reliability, and compliance across the lifecycle. You will steer the strategy and roadmap, building a high-performing, cross-border organization that enables growth and customer success. Work with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Sales to translate insights into improvements and scalable processes. Drive governance, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration to advance engineering and quality excellence. Help propel ABB’s mission of energy efficiency and sustainable customer outcomes.
Responsabilità- Define and execute the global Product Engineering & Quality strategy, roadmap, operating model and organizational agenda.
- Own end-to-end product engineering, quality, and portfolio performance, ensuring availability, reliability, compliance, competitiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the global Product Engineering and Quality function, strengthening governance, capabilities, talent development, succession planning, and high-performance culture.
- Drive engineering and quality excellence through processes, technologies, standardization, scalability, and resolution of complex product and customer challenges.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and resource optimization, partnering with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Sales; manage budgets, investments, manufacturing support, and capacity planning.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field
- 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, quality, R&D, product management or related field
- Proven leadership of complex, global organizations with broad accountability for product portfolios, engineering, quality, reliability and customer outcomes
- Strategic and business acumen; ability to translate business strategy into functional strategy, priorities, investments and capability development
- Understanding of product engineering, quality management and product lifecycle; connect technical excellence with business value
- Strong customer orientation and ability to translate insights into product and quality improvements
- Proven track record in organizational transformation and global capability development (talent, succession, organizational development)
- Financial, stakeholder and people leadership skills; experience managing resources across cultures and geographies
- Strong communication, influencing and cross-cultural collaboration skills; fluent written and spoken English
