Fisheries Sustainability

The General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM), a FAO body, seeks a Fishery Resources Specialist on a Consultant/PSA basis. The post can be home-based or at the GFCM headquarters in Rome, with a duration of up to 11 months and renewal potential. Closure date is 13 October 2026.

Responsibilities include providing technical inputs for the GFCM 2030 Strategy, monitoring and advising on marine fisheries and aquaculture, data analysis and support to scientific groups.
