Offer DescriptionWithin WP2: Optimization of High-Performance Networks and Links (Fiber, Radio, and Satellite) - Activity 2.4, the contract holder will contribute to the design of efficient solutions to advance the state of the art in the deployment logic of in-network computing functions (in the form of Virtual Network Functions) and their optimal orchestration, also considering the possibility of relying on evolutionary management paradigms such as the Network Digital Twin (NDT) paradigm. The focus will be on dynamic and evolving reference network scenarios for the project, introducing mechanisms capable of reacting in real time to changes in network operating conditions to consistently ensure high performance and compliance with the Quality of Service (QoS) constraints required by applications. It is also expected that the optimization can be adapted to run on quantum as well as traditional machines.
