MRO Material Control Planner

Role: MRO Material Control Planner

Work Location: Client Site

Genpact is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MRO Material Control Planner to support material planning, inventory management, repair scheduling, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and data analysis skills, experience in supply chain/material planning, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Coordinate material planning, inventory availability, and parts allocation/reallocation.
• Support repair and overhaul planning, scheduling, and daily Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, reconciliation, and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Monitor inventory levels, cycle counts, part numbers, and material discrepancies.
• Prepare daily status reports and identify delays, backlogs, and operational risks.
• Extract, transform, and validate operational data using SQL and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track operational performance, backlog, and project status.
• Work with Oracle ERP and other enterprise systems for material, inventory, and financial data tracking.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Inventory, Finance, IT, Quality, and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, reporting automation, and operational efficiency.
• Experience in MRO, Material Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, data validation, and Pivot Tables.
• Experience in data analysis, data cleaning, reconciliation, and operational reporting.
• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP platforms.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation MRO, repair/overhaul operations, or spare parts management.
• Familiarity with inventory reallocation, cycle counts, WIP tracking, and credit-return processes.
• Experience with process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
