TEACHING ACTIVITIES: The successful candidate will be required to provide high-quality teaching within the Department’s first
- and second-cycle degree programmes. They will carry out specific teaching activities in the subjects offered within Academic Discipline GLOT-01/A. MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES: The successful candidate will undertake management and support duties within Departmental and degree programme bodies and structures in the areas of Research, Teaching and Third Mission. RESEARCH: The research activity will focus on the subject areas covered by Academic Discipline GLOT-01/A. Particular emphasis will be placed on the following areas expressly included in that description, in line with the teaching and research needs of the Department in which the researcher will be based: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax; historical linguistics, dialectology, sociolinguistics, ethnolinguistics, multilingualism and language contact. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research of recognized national and international standing and may also coordinate national and international projects, including European projects.
Teaching may include lectures, tutorials, support in any other forms of student instruction, grading and evaluation of papers and evaluation of final exams, on the subjects and topics covered by the contract. Teaching for up to 120 hours is required, according to university regulations.
