General Description of the roleThe Group FP&A Senior Specialist, Global SC Analytics & Insights, plays a pivotal role in transforming financial data into actionable insights across the global Supply Chain organization. The role is focused on enhancing COGS and COGP transparency, identifying key performance drivers, and developing scenario-based analyses that support strategic and operational decision-making. By combining advanced analytics with a deep understanding of Supply Chain economics, the position enables Finance and business leaders to make informed decisions that drive performance. The role acts as a center‑of‑expertise contributor, supporting standardization, automation, and the evolution of FP&A SC analytics capabilities at global level.
Key Responsibilities Analytics & Insight Generation- Develop and maintain analytical models to explain actual COGS performance and forecast its evolution, including drivers such as pricing, mix, productivity, inflation, foreign exchange, and operational inefficiencies.
- Drive simplification and transparency of COGS frameworks through standardized methodologies and consistent analytical practices, while supporting the COGS Transformation initiative.
- Monitor and analyze inventory positions to provide insights on working capital, stock levels, and supply chain performance.
- Lead SG&A reporting and performance tracking for the Supply Chain function.
- Contribute to global diagnosis initiatives by highlighting root causes and improvement levers.
- Build standardized financial models for simulations and strategic scenarios (what‑if, make‑or‑buy, cost inflation, footprint, capacity).
- Provide scenario‑based insights to support decision‑making under uncertainty.
- Design and enhance global dashboards and KPIs to track Supply Chain and COGS performance consistently across regions.
- Maintain clear KPI definitions and report logic across regions, functions, and reporting layers.
- Support leadership reporting by turning analyses into clear visuals and concise takeaways.
- Help define and govern data models, KPI definitions, and analytical standards for Supply Chain FP&A reporting and analytics.
- Work closely with Reporting & Analytics teams to accelerate automation and reduce manual, Excel‑driven processes.
- Act as a key reference point for the best analytical practices within Global FP&A Supply Chain.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to align analytical outputs with business needs.
- Support Finance leadership in preparing materials for senior management, performance reviews, month end closing and strategic discussions.
- Internal: Global FP&A Supply Chain leadership, Supply Chain Operations (Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Planning), Group / Corporate FP&A IR & CF teams
- External: external consultants and providers
- 4-6 years of FP&A and/or data analytics
- Experience in FMCG preferred
- Strong exposure to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, COGS, or Operations‑related analytics
- People management skills are a plus
- Degree in Economics/Business Administration
- Fluency of English is a must, knowledge of other languages is a plus
