Offer Description

The project aims to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying inflammation and oxidative stress in cardiovascular pathophysiology, with particular emphasis on patients at high cardiovascular risk. By integrating the analysis of biological samples with in vitro experimental models and cellular and molecular biology techniques, the study will explore the mechanisms regulating cellular activation, reactive oxygen species production, and interactions among platelets, immune cells, and vascular cells. Particular attention will be devoted to the assessment of inflammatory and oxidative stress biomarkers, as well as molecular pathways involved in vascular dysfunction and thromboinflammatory processes. These investigations will contribute to a better understanding of the biological mechanisms associated with cardiovascular disease development and progression.
