The role provides strategic direction across EMEA, drives cross-functional and country alignment, and partners with regional stakeholders to secure favourable market conditions and enable growth. In addition, the Associate Director provides targeted strategic support to Market Access leadership across LATAM, Emerging Markets and the Middle East, contributing expertise, analysis and programme leadership to selected cross-regional priorities. Business development capability is critical, including identifying and evaluating growth opportunities, supporting market entry and expansion plans, and developing robust business cases with commercial leadership. Lead and execute the market access strategy for the IVL portfolio across EMEA, aligned with Circulatory Restorations’ global, regional and country business objectives. Assess market dynamics, competitive landscapes, reimbursement policies and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities, barriers and priorities. Partner with regional and country commercial leadership, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and finance to shape pricing strategy, contracting approaches, and reimbursement models for IVL. Lead pricing analyses, value/affordability assessments, and financial forecasting to support optimal market positioning. Drive a business development mindset across EMEA by identifying, sizing and prioritising new market entry and growth opportunities for IVL, including new countries, segments, sites of care and funding pathways, and translating access insights into actionable commercial expansion plans. Oversee and ensure the timely delivery of reimbursement submissions, HTA evaluations, value dossiers, evidence reviews and other HEOR/RWE activities across priority EMEA markets. Set standards, provide governance and ensure insights are translated into actionable access optimisation plans. Develop, adapt and deploy market access and reimbursement tools for IVL to meet EMEA market needs. Monitor access performance, track reimbursement trends across EMEA and drive continuous improvement. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including payers, policy makers, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and industry associations across the International region. Provide matrix leadership to cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, medical affairs, clinical, and R&D) to embed market access requirements into product planning, evidence generation, launch, and commercialisation strategies for IVL. Provide expert insight on EMEA reimbursement and health policy developments and their impact on commercial objectives, investment decisions and market prioritisation. Provide targeted strategic support to Market Access leadership across LATAM, Emerging Markets and the Middle East, including selected regional assessments, portfolio prioritisation, business cases, governance, capability building and cross-regional initiatives. This support complements, but does not replace, the role’s primary accountability for EMEA. Support business development activities with local partners and distributors where applicable, including opportunity qualification, access and pricing due diligence, development of value propositions, and contribution to negotiations and contracting models in collaboration with legal, finance, and commercial leadership. Lead high-impact value conversations with key decision makers (payers, hospital administrators, policy makers, and procurement stakeholders) and support senior commercial leaders in external engagements to progress access objectives. Identify barriers to patient access and propose strategies to resolve them. Adapt strategies when policy cha
