Citi is looking for an intern to join the corporate banking team in milan for a 6‑month internship starting in january or february 2027.

Responsibilities

conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash‑flow modelling and capital‑markets analysis.
complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
liaise with product partners.
assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients.
participate in live deal structuring.
drive client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions.

Requirements

available to start in january or february 2027.
strong academic record and currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement.
fluent in italian and english.
solid analytical and quantitative skills, balance‑sheet knowledge and high attention to detail.
excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
genuine interest in corporate finance and a dedication to learning.
commitment to personal growth, teamwork and ethical decision‑making.

salary range: 51,100€ – 73,900€ per year (full‑time equivalent).
