As Electronics Commodity Buyer you drive the sourcing strategy for electronics, building a resilient supplier base to support growth and new product introductions. You collaborate with R&D, Industrialization, Quality, Production and Sourcing to ensure supplier readiness, component availability, and cost effectiveness. You shape supplier development, mitigate risk, and align with future electronics-driven portfolio goals. Responsabilità
  • Define and implement sourcing strategies for the Electronics commodity.
  • Develop and manage suppliers for electronic components, PCBs, EMS providers, power electronics, sensors and related tech.
  • Lead supplier development focused on quality, capacity, manufacturing robustness, delivery performance and continuous improvement.
  • Support new product introductions through supplier readiness and industrial feasibility assessment.
  • Collaborate with R&D Hardware, Industrialization and Quality to evaluate solutions and supplier capabilities.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities via should-cost analysis, value engineering and supplier collaboration.
  • Support lifecycle management including EOL monitoring, alternative sourcing, and continuity planning.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and development plans for strategic electronics suppliers.
  • Identify emerging technologies, suppliers and market trends relevant to future product roadmaps.
  • Analyze sourcing and supply chain data to provide actionable optimization and risk mitigation insights.
  • Support digitalization and continuous improvement within Sourcing team.
Requisiti fondamentali
  • Degree in electronics or related engineering field; minimum 5 years in electronics sourcing or supplier development.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, EMS suppliers and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience supporting NPI, industrialization and supplier qualification.
  • Cost engineering, value engineering and risk management knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP MM.
  • Experience with Power BI and advanced Excel; data-driven decision making.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
