Digital Factory Manager

As Digital Factory Manager you will define the technical vision, architecture, and integration strategy for the client’s digital ecosystem. You will lead cross-functional teams across B2B/B2C platforms and internal solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable digital platforms. The role blends software architecture, IoT, and Digital Transformation to evolve connected systems and platforms. You will work autonomously with the client, driving governance, best practices, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of technology strategy and delivery.

• Contribute to defining technical architecture of digital platforms and connected systems
• Support IoT ecosystems design and Cloud/Edge integrations
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership across project streams and assist Product and Engineering teams
• Ensure architectural standards, best practices, and quality requirements
• Define integration strategies across heterogeneous systems and platforms
• Contribute to technical governance and Agile adoption
• Coordinate and monitor delivery activities ensuring technical compliance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technology providers
• Support evolution of platforms in terms of reliability, security, maintainability, and scalability
• For Expert: govern end-to-end architectural direction of the entire digital ecosystem
• Lead the technology vision, roadmaps, and Digital Transformation initiatives
• Promote architectural standards and enterprise governance
• Lead complex IoT ecosystems, Cloud/Edge integrations, and cross-platform integration strategies
• Coordinate technology providers and partners with direct architectural responsibility

• Experience designing and evolving distributed software architectures
• Knowledge of Software Architecture and System Integration principles
• Experience designing end-to-end solutions and integrating systems
• Knowledge of IoT ecosystems, Connected Platforms, and Cloud architectures
• Experience integrating software components, services, and hardware devices
• Knowledge of major IoT communication protocols
• Experience applying Agile methodologies and structured delivery practices
• Ability to coordinate technical activities and support multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to define integration solutions across heterogeneous systems and platforms
• Proficient in Italian and English (written and spoken)
• Experience in e-Mobility, charging infrastructure, and B2B/B2C platforms is a plus
• For Expert: governance of complex distributed enterprise software architectures
• Ability to define architectural vision and roadmaps for complex ecosystems
• Experience with large-scale Edge-to-Cloud and Distributed Computing
• Experience defining enterprise integration strategies and IoT ecosystems governance
• Knowledge of OCPP protocol and CPMS platforms
