Would you be interested in joining the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as an interim via Randstad Italia? If you have a good proficiency in English and previous experience in monitoring data and statistical analysis this could be your chance to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
We are looking for a Scientific Research Assistant in the Biological Hazard Unit, team Animal Health.

Responsabilità

support the work of the Animal Health team in topics including Vector-borne diseases such as Rift Valley Fever;
extracting and monitoring epidemiological data submitted by external stakeholders to the Unit;
presenting data in figures & tables;
performing a descriptive statistical analysis;
writing summaries of the results and the statistical analysis;
writing meeting minutes;
contributing to timely and effective planning to meet priorities and deadlines within the work programme of the Unit.

Functie-eisen

Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
Master's degree in Animal Health, Epidemiology or related areas;
At least 1 year of relevant working experience in collecting and collating evidence in the area of animal diseases and product treatments;
Excellent use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel;
Working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.

Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 18 months.
Salary: approx. 2326,00 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from Parma, Italy for the remaining days.
