The Role
We are looking for a Hotel Manager to lead the resort with strategic vision and a strong hands-on presence. The successful candidate will combine the standards of Hilton and Curio Collection with the authentic spirit of Mangia's hospitality. They will have full responsibility for the property, including the guest experience, financial performance, team management and alignment with brand values.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Wellness, Maintenance and Beach Services. Ensure full compliance with Mangia's and Curio Collection by Hilton standards.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget and forecasts, monitoring key performance indicators such as RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, GOP and labour costs.
- Shape the commercial strategy with the Revenue, Sales and Marketing teams, making the most of Hilton's distribution network and the Hilton Honors programme across all channels: direct, tour operators, OTAs, weddings and events.
- Deliver an outstanding experience to an international clientele, with particular attention to couples and guests seeking exclusivity.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, online reputation and brand audits, and put continuous improvement plans in place.
- Recruit, train and develop the seasonal team, fostering a people-centred culture.
- Champion the Group's sustainability initiatives and strengthen the resort's connection with the Gallura region.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, HACCP, data protection and employment regulations.
- Manage relationships with the ownership, head office, suppliers and local stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or Resort Manager in five-star or upper-upscale properties, ideally in seasonal resorts.
- Experience in hotels affiliated with international brands (Hilton or similar), with a sound knowledge of their standards and processes.
- Strong financial management and business control skills.
- Demonstrated leadership of multi-departmental teams.
- Fluent Italian and English; French is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (Opera PMS and Hilton platforms).
- A degree in Hospitality Management, Economics or a related field (preferred).
- Availability to work in Sardinia for the full season.
