Position Overview: We are looking for a Customer Portal Full‐Stack Senior Developer to join our global Customer Portal team, which is responsible for continually adding new capabilities to a custom‐built global portal that serves as the primary digital touchpoint between Vertiv and many of the largest companies in the world. As the team's senior developer, you will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and integration architects to ensure solutions meet business requirements, bridge technical gaps, and align with modern development best practices. You will utilize Oracle Visual Builder and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to deploy new functionality for Vertiv's global customers. You will work within an Oracle‐based architecture that includes Oracle E‐Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), and Snowflake. Your day‐to‐day work will include hands‐on technical design, coding, code reviews, prototyping, and maintaining clear technical documentation. While experience with Oracle Visual Builder is preferred, it is not required to apply for this job. We welcome developers with strong full‐stack experience who can quickly learn and become productive with Oracle Visual Builder.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Oracle Visual Builder and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Build CI/CD pipelines, Git‐based development workflows, and manage builds/deployments in Visual Builder Studio.
Support and maintain the Vertiv Customer Portal by troubleshooting issues, addressing tech debt, improving stability and performance.
Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and integration teams to deliver seamless, user‐centered portal experiences.
Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, deployment, and post‐launch support.
Write clean, well‐documented, and maintainable code with a focus on reusability and long‐term scalability.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development best practices and alignment with team standards.
Collaborate closely with the QA lead by contributing to test coverage, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high‐quality, stable releases.
Own and maintain technical documentation for developed features, including APIs, architecture decisions, and data models.
Proactively identify technical debt and advocate for continuous improvement within the codebase and development processes.
Stay current on updates to Oracle Visual Builder and Visual Builder Studio and related technologies and share this knowledge with others.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
6 to 10 years of full‐stack development experience, ideally in enterprise B2B environments.
Agile Methodologies & Tools
Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
Experience using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps for tracking work items.
Comfort with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and bash scripting.
Experience with SQL.
Communication & Collaboration
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), including the ability to discuss technical topics with both technical and non‐technical audiences.
Proven track record of collaborating with cross‐functional teams (BA, QA, front‐end, product owners).
Problem‐Solving & Accountability
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Self‐starter approach, taking ownership of tasks from design to deployment.
Mentorship
Interest or experience in mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and guiding best practices.
