We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join an infrastructure project in Sardinia, Italy.
This is an excellent opportunity for a cost control professional with experience in construction or infrastructure projects to contribute to financial performance, cost monitoring, and effective project delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and actual expenditure.
Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
Track project progress and assess its financial impact.
Coordinate with project management, planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
Identify cost deviations, financial risks, and opportunities for cost optimisation.
Support cash flow forecasting, budget revisions, and financial reporting.
Assist with subcontractor cost control, change orders, and variation tracking.
Requirements:
Proven experience in cost control within infrastructure, civil engineering, or large-scale construction projects (1-3 years).
Knowledge of project budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
Experience with cost analysis, variance reporting, and change management.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and project cost management tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Fluency in Italian; English language skills are an advantage.
